How to successfully plan a remodel.

Here is a quick checklist to successfully plan a construction remodel. These tips will help you plan, budget and set realistic expectations before starting any home renovation projects. Save time and headache by following these simple steps.

1. Set a budget: Before you start any work, it’s important to establish a budget for your project. This will help you stay on track and avoid overspending.

2. Plan your layout: Think about how you want your kitchen to look and function. Consider the placement of appliances, storage, and workspaces. Make sure your layout is functional and efficient.

3. Choose your materials: Select high-quality materials that will stand up to daily use. Consider the durability and maintenance requirements of different materials, such as countertops, flooring, and cabinetry.

4. Hire a professional: Unless you have experience in construction or remodeling, it’s best to hire a professional contractor. They can help you navigate the complexities of the project and ensure that everything is done correctly.

5. Communicate with your contractor: Make sure you communicate your needs and preferences to your contractor. Ask questions and keep an open line of communication throughout the project.

6. Be flexible: Unexpected issues can arise during a remodeling project. Be prepared to adjust your plans as needed and stay flexible throughout the process.

7. Be patient: A kitchen remodeling project can take several weeks or even months to complete. Be patient and remember that the end result will be worth it.

By following these tips, you can have a successful kitchen remodeling project that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations. Good luck!

My husband and I are absolutely delighted with our remodel project by Shane Lamberty, Infinity Builders. We (okay really I) had the desire to update our kitchen however, Shane's suggestions far exceeded our expectations! The end result was wonderful, and we are glad to refer Infinity Builders. Shane's recommedations provided not only an updated kitchen, an inviting flow to our main floor as well as providing us more living space. From the start to finish of our project we were thoroughly informed of cost, timing and who and when someone would be in our home. Attention to detail was evident in this remodel project! Shane respected our budget and was able to keep us well informed. Everyone Shane brought into our home was professional and courteous. Our kitchen/main floor has an absolute wow factor!

Infinity did a massive remodel for me, making my townhome look like it was plucked straight out of Vail. Everything we did was custom...10-foot knotty alder doors, glass-and-beam shower, wood ceilings, very thick live-edge shelving, plasma-cut one-in-the-world railing balusters, custom woodwork, masonry work, 25' high electrical work for fixtures. Everything I wanted done....YES was the response I got---no matter how difficult the request. We did have to work around supply chain difficulties during the pandemic, but Infinity found creative ways to stay busy on the project while waiting for items to show up. I had a great project manager that pushed things along and was also a great design consultant. This is a company with character, values, trustworthiness...things hard to find these days.
