From Drab to Fab: Simple Bathroom Improvements for a Happier Life

by | Mar 2, 2023 | Kitchen & Bath Remodeling

When it comes to home renovations, the bathroom is often overlooked. However, a few simple improvements can transform your bathroom from drab to fab and significantly impact your happiness and overall quality of life. Here are some easy bathroom renovations to consider:

  1. Update Your Lighting

Adding new light fixtures or increasing the amount of natural light in your bathroom can instantly brighten the space and create a more inviting atmosphere. However, proper lighting is essential for getting ready in the morning or winding down at night.

  1. Install a New Vanity

An outdated vanity can make your bathroom look dull and uninviting. Consider replacing it with a new one to add style and functionality. Also, choose a vanity with plenty of storage, such as drawers or cabinets, to keep your bathroom essentials organized and out of sight.

  1. Replace Your Showerhead

Upgrading your showerhead is a simple and cost-effective way to enhance your daily shower experience. Consider installing a rainfall showerhead or a massaging showerhead for a spa-like experience.

  1. Add New Hardware

Replacing your bathroom hardware, such as towel bars, drawer pulls, and faucets, can give your bathroom a new look. Choose hardware that complements your bathroom’s style and color scheme.

  1. Paint Your Walls

A fresh coat of paint can do wonders for your bathroom’s appearance. Choose a color that complements your bathroom’s style and creates a calming and inviting atmosphere.

  1. Add Plants

Adding greenery to your bathroom can create a spa-like oasis and provide a natural touch. Plants like peace lilies, spider plants, and Boston ferns are great options for adding a pop of green to your bathroom.

In conclusion, a few simple improvements to your bathroom can transform it from drab to fab and significantly impact your happiness and overall quality of life. Updating your lighting, installing a new vanity, replacing your showerhead, adding new hardware, painting your walls, and adding plants are all easy ways to enhance your bathroom’s style and functionality. So, why not start planning your bathroom renovation today and create a more inviting and relaxing space in your home?

My husband and I are absolutely delighted with our remodel project by Shane Lamberty, Infinity Builders. We (okay really I) had the desire to update our kitchen however, Shane's suggestions far exceeded our expectations! The end result was wonderful, and we are glad to refer Infinity Builders. Shane's recommedations provided not only an updated kitchen, an inviting flow to our main floor as well as providing us more living space. From the start to finish of our project we were thoroughly informed of cost, timing and who and when someone would be in our home. Attention to detail was evident in this remodel project! Shane respected our budget and was able to keep us well informed. Everyone Shane brought into our home was professional and courteous. Our kitchen/main floor has an absolute wow factor!

Infinity did a massive remodel for me, making my townhome look like it was plucked straight out of Vail. Everything we did was custom...10-foot knotty alder doors, glass-and-beam shower, wood ceilings, very thick live-edge shelving, plasma-cut one-in-the-world railing balusters, custom woodwork, masonry work, 25' high electrical work for fixtures. Everything I wanted done....YES was the response I got---no matter how difficult the request. We did have to work around supply chain difficulties during the pandemic, but Infinity found creative ways to stay busy on the project while waiting for items to show up. I had a great project manager that pushed things along and was also a great design consultant. This is a company with character, values, trustworthiness...things hard to find these days.
